"Do You Like Me?" is a Nightcore-adjacent Pop Mixtape that is much more layered and vulnerable than any of my previous releases. 3dcamgrl often explored this idea of a digital love, whereas Do You Like Me? explores the side after love ends - the longing that burns, the painful thought patterns that spiral and storm about, the frantic search for a coping mechanism, the unhealthy idealization of this 'perfect' romance and it's consequences....

There is a strong focus on sung vocals this time, while the production has evolved into a more structured and accessible form. Although it is less noise-like than before, this project is still chock-full of sped-up buckling percussion layered on top of detuned, squealing harmonies. The complete essence of my sound incorporates this emphasis within the tonal balance of 'Beauty' and 'Ugly,' of course envisioned under a Queer perspective. When combined with the shifting effects of filters, tempos, SFX, and glitchy hot cues, each track takes on a live-feeling layer of edits to keep a feverish ADHD-like pace going.
